A fragment of a bronze fibula dating to the Early Archaic period, found in Room 4 of Building 10 at Kastro Kallithea (Thessalia), excavated in 2012. Room 4 is located in the N section of the building and could be entered from the atrium. Excavations in this room yielded a large variety of finds including two pithoi and a small bronze hoard consisting of scrap bronze material, which included fragments of two Archaic fibulae, including this one. Since Building 10 did not yet exist during the Archaic period, this could possibly have been an heirloom.
